Screenings & Premieres

Hosting a screening or premiere requires a venue that delivers impact at every stage of the experience. From guest arrival through to the final applause, every detail must feel considered, seamless, and visually exceptional.

At 60 Great Queen Street, the Grand Temple provides a spectacular setting for cinematic events of every scale.  Combining striking Art Deco architecture with exceptional production capabilities and flexible event spaces, the venue is designed to support ambitious screenings, premieres, Q&As and after-parties with ease.

Your Guest Journey

Guests arrive through the iconic Tower Doors into the Foyer, which works seamlessly for arrival registration and cloakroom facilities. The space also lends itself perfectly to step & repeat photography moments and press pit setups, creating a strong red-carpet style arrival experience for guests, talent, and media. From here, guests ascend the sweeping marble staircase into the Vestibules, which would act as the central catering and networking hub before and after the screening. The grandeur of these spaces provides an impressive backdrop for receptions, photography, and press activity.

The Grand Temple is exceptionally well suited to screenings. The space features comfortable fixed tiered seating, excellent sightlines, and a large built-in stage, making it ideal for film presentations, introductions, and Q&A sessions.

Large-format screens can be installed within the room, and the layout can be configured to suit your preferred setup. Choose from a traditional cinema-style arrangement or a more bespoke screening environment. For greater flexibility, the room can also be adapted further, with the installation of temporary flooring, allowing for alternative seating layouts or a completely reimagined screening experience if required.
