The Brief
Twilio, working with our production partner Event Concept, came to us with a clear brief: to deliver a summit-style conference for 500 delegates across two days, designed to inspire. As an established annual event, scalability was key, both in terms of capacity and experience. The venue needed to support evolving production demands while maintaining a seamless and engaging delegate journey.

Why 60 Great Queen Street
60 Great Queen Street stood out thanks to the variety of interconnected spaces available, enabling a carefully curated flow throughout the event.
Equally important were the venue’s advanced production and branding capabilities, allowing for a fully immersive and highly customised environment. Combined with its central London location and robust WiFi infrastructure (essential for a content-rich, digitally integrated conference) the venue provided the perfect foundation for a modern, high-impact summit.

The Experience
The event design pushed the boundaries of what the venue could offer. The Grand Temple was transformed into a bespoke, high-tech conference space through the strategic placement of multiple screens, creating an environment that felt both expansive and intimate. This innovative use of production allowed every delegate to feel connected, regardless of where they were seated.
Elsewhere, the Gallery Ante Room was reimagined as an interactive arcade space, injecting energy and playfulness into the programme. Atmospheric haze was used throughout to enhance lighting design and create a cohesive, immersive aesthetic across all areas.
The Vestibules were converted into a futuristic catering hub, complete with a bespoke barista station. A digital ordering system streamlined the guest experience, reducing queues and allowing delegates to engage with the space more fluidly between sessions.

The Result
The summit delivered a dynamic, future-facing experience that exceeded expectations and set a new benchmark for the client’s annual event series. By fully utilising the versatility of 60 Great Queen Street, the event not only met current needs but laid the groundwork for continued growth in the years to come.
